Using both portrait and landscape format in same document

Guess you have a table consisting a minimum of 15 columns to be included in your thesis or dissertation or project. For obvious reasons that table will not be presentable in your portrait page setup even if font size of as low as 8points is used.

So, what is the best way to solve this problem?

Well, lets move.
1. First come to a point of your document where the table is to be included. At this point your page setup is 'Portrait. Keep your 'cursor' at this point and go to 'File' menu.
2. Click on 'Page Setup'. At the 'PageSetup' dialogue there are three tabs. Click on 'Layout' tab. On 'Section' section on 'Layout' tab select 'New Page' for 'Section Start' option.

3. Find the 'Preview' section of the bottom of the 'Page Setup' dialogue already open on your computer screen. In the 'Apply to:' option select 'This point forward'. Click 'OK' to apply the change.

4. Now you can see that a new page with landscape orientation has been introduced in your document. Design your table in this page. Once you finish up you may need to again change the orientation to portrait to continue the next chapter of the document.

5. To accomplish that follow the steps '1'  to '3'. Only difference is at step '2' you will see that 'Landscape' is selected in 'Orientation' section on 'Margins' tab. You need to change that to 'Portrait'. Rest all activities will remain same.

1. Changing the default page setup (the page MSWORD opens when launched).
2. Using Single and two/three column format in the same page.
3. Adjusting Table cells width to hold the data in it.
4. Using inline images with text (text wrapping).
